Download & Install Wireshark
Go to wireshark.org
Click on Download Wireshark Now
Select your operating system, for this demo I’ll choose the Windows x64 Installer
Click ‘Next’ to proceed through the installation wizard
Click ‘Noted’ to accept the license agreement and proceed through the installation
I’ll be sticking with the defaults, click ‘Next’ to proceed
If you’d like a desktop shortcut, check the box for ‘Windows Desktop Icon’ and click ‘Next’ to proceed
Choose where you would like to install the program
Npcap is the Windows version of the libpcap library, providing support for packet capture on the Windows platform. Click ‘Next’ to proceed
USBPcap is a packet capture tool designed for capturing USB traffic on Windows, monitoring the activity of USB drives. Click ‘Install’ to proceed
You must agree to the License Agreement to proceed
For this demo, I’ll stick with the defaults and won’t be utilizing a wireless adapter. Simply click ‘Install’ to proceed
You’ll need to restart your computer for the installation to take effect
